Doctor Maddie Carr, her partner and two little ones were flying up to Aberdeen to visit family and obviously needed to book airport parking. Read on ……
Why did we fly? Well we live in Gower in Swansea and my sister and her family live in Aberdeen! So it’s a pretty long drive. Our parents do it but then they haven’t got a 6 month old baby and a two year old daughter. Imagine driving for eleven plus hours with children that age in the car. It would be an absolute nightmare!
Airport Parking
We were going from Birmingham Airport as Cardiff don’t fly to Aberdeen and flights from Bristol are ridiculously expensive. Fortunately our flights were at really good times so this time we didn’t need to book a hotel. When we go to Crete on holidays in the Summer, we are going to take advantage of the hotel booking facility at APH and book a hotel too. We really do not want to be rushing down the M4 in the middle of the night to get a 7am flight. Staying in a hotel the night before is definitely the least stressful way.
Anyway, I digress. Booking the parking before getting to the airport is way cheaper and makes perfect sense. We booked with APH a couple of weeks beforehand and it was so easy and seamless. It was quick and easy to park in the NCP car-park at the airport and although it was easily walkable to the Terminal we took advantage of the bus transfer which runs every 10 mins through the day and night.
We will, without doubt, use APH – Airport Parking and Hotels again and can genuinely recommend the services they offer.
Airport Parking and Hotels (APH.com) offers a wide range of parking and overnight hotel stays at all major UK airports. One week’s APH airport parking at Birmingham Airport costs from £93.99 in June 2023. For the latest prices and to book, visit www.aph.com.
