It’s springtime, time for a bit of spring cleaning? But how clean are you really?
For example, did you know that you’re supposed to vacuum your mattress every two weeks and wash your make-up brushes every week?! Apparently the bacteria streptococcus ,which can cause impetigo amongst other nasties, can live on make-up brushes and sponges! Ugh!
And who amongst us, changes our loo brush every 6 months? Yet that’s what we’re supposed to do. Likewise, we’re fairly sure that most people don’t vacuum their mattress once a fortnight. Nonetheless that’s what we should be doing.
How Often Should You Clean a TV Remote?
Pillowcases? Light Switches? Turns out none of us are washing these often enough either. For goodness sake, who washes their pillowcases every other day?! Or is that just us? And do you machine wash your pet’s bed every week? Again we’re pretty sure most pet-owners don’t. Our houses may look clean but under the surface tidiness, there’s a whole lot of trouble brewing!
The first thing to do after reading this article is to go out and buy a huge tub of antibacterial wipes! Then go and clean your TV Remotes, phones, keyboard, tablet and light switches with them! Ever wondered how often you should change your toothbrush or wash your cushion covers? Or how often should you clean a tv remote? Well as it happens, we should all be cleaning our TV Remotes at least once a week!
