Here are a few more of my favourite beauty products ….. They all go to prove that you really don’t need to spend an arm and a leg to keep yourself moisturised, groomed and looking your best.
BEAUTY MADE EASY Lip Balm

This is the first lip balm I’ve ever seen which comes in a plastic-free paper tube. It’s available in a zillion flavours and colour tubes and is even made using natural ingredients. My favourite, BERRY, includes raspberry seed oil sourced as a by-product of the juicing industry. This Beauty Made Easy Lip Balm is vegan, rich in antioxidants, moisturises wonderfully and all with a very natural raspberry taste and smell. What’s not to love?
Jerome Russell Bblonde Intense Silver Conditioning Water

I’m clearly a dinosaur as I’d never heard of ‘conditioning water’ before but Boy am I glad I found this fab product from Jerome Russell. This is a sulphate free conditioning water for bleached, grey or pre-lightened hair . It’s brilliant for us ladies with highlights as it removes brassiness and unwanted yellow tones. The nourishing, rinse out formula enriched with UVA and UVB filters makes your hair feel lovely.
Blistex Lip Infusions

Ok, so we’ve all heard of Blistex and know that the brand make great lip balms. Well, I’ve been trying a few of the new Blistex Lip Infusions and I’m really impressed. The one I like best is Lip Infusions Hydration which as well as being SPF15, softens, smooths and contains Vitamin E & F. The ‘Nourish’ flavour is a star as well as the coconut oil and beeswax feels so good on the lips while it moisturises. Even Mr. C has one in the car!
ZEROWATER Filtered Water Jug

If you haven’t got one of those fancy fridges which dispenses filtered water at home, then this ZEROWATER 5 Stage Water Filtration Jug will be right up your street! The jug is perfect for a family to have easy and cheap access to filtered water which tastes and is, in fact, as pure as it gets. The filtration system removes nearly all dissolved solids from any tap water and you can even check the levels of ‘nasties’ before and after you’ve filtered your tap water. A win-win at less than £45.
Pearl Beauty Multi-Purpose Lip and Face Sticks

These Pearly Beauty Sticks are a real must-have in the beauty world right now. The ultra hydrating, creamy formulas make it incredibly easy to blend this product onto your face. Personally I do it with my fingers in a patting motion and continue until it looks right for me. But I know others pop it on with a blusher brush. I love the Girl Next Door shade (a kind of pale, cool pink colour) on my lips and it’s so small it lives in my handbag! All the shades are buildable and the stick is so tiny you can fit it anywhere.
freezeframe Eyelid Lift

Wow, just wow! When I read the ‘blurb’ calling this a ‘non-surgical Eyelid Lift’, I was sceptical to say the least. But no, it turns out that this is exactly what it does. I have typical, fair-skinned, slightly hooded eyes , the kind that droop as you get older. This product from freezeframe does indeed lift my sagging eyelids and all without surgery. It’s a high-performance serum which targets drooping skin and can lift the upper eyelids by nearly 50%. It really does give me more lifted, open-looking eyes so I feel and look brighter and fresher. A fab product!
RINGANA FRESH baby

My daughters have been trying out some of the gorgeous RINGANA FRESH baby products on my grandchildren recently. The RINGANA FRESH baby, body and hair wash went down a storm. It’s such a gentle, pH balanced product that baby’s eyes don’t sting. It also has almond and sesame oil which helps untangle hair. The Baby Bum Cream has proved to be a favourite too. It not only soothes irritation in that sensitive nappy area but it also forms a breathable, protective film on the skin. RINGANA FRESH baby products are all made fresh in small batches and contain none of the usual ‘nasties’. Only the best is good enough for our babies!
THE HAIR BOSS
The Corrector Drops

Brilliant, if you don’t want your blonde hair to go all brassy!
