Look Fabulous Forever Bring Back Brow Shape
I’m pretty sure that any woman who is browsing this site is well aware how much eyebrows fade and become more sparse with the years. This brow product, from my favourite beauty site for women 50+, is nothing short of amazing! It really improves the look of thin and uneven eyebrows and brings definition back to your face. The brush is super-fine and creates a very natural brow look. There really is nothing better on the market and I can’t imagine ever using anything else for my brows!

Ok so Heritage Store has joined forces with Cult Beauty to bring loads of their favourite products to the UK beauty market. I’m a massive fan of the Rosewater Facial Mist which I’ve been spritzing left, right & centre since I bought it. It helps set your make-up but at the same time refreshes you. All the Heritage Store products are about self-care as well as skin-care and so contain none of the usual ‘nasty’ ingredients
Embryolisse Skin Care
I find it incredibly difficult to choose my favourite Embryolisse product as to be frank I’ve loved everything I’ve ever tried. I adore their Hydra-Serum and I tend to use it along with the Hydra-Cream Light. Both products smell really fresh and work wonders on my skin. My skin can be quite sensitive but it loves Embryolisse!
Tisserand Aromatherapy
What’s not to love about all things Tisserand. All the Tisserand aromatherapy products smell divine and once you’re tried one, you’ll want to try another. My fave at the moment is the Tisserand Energy Boost Pulse Point Roller Ball. But Tisserand’s De-Stress Bath & Shower Wash
Pebble Gear Kids Tablet
Now this one is great for all grannies and grandads! ‘Learn and Play with Mickey, Minnie and all the others’. Who could resist such an offer. Certainly not most 3 to 8 year olds! The Disney Mickey and Friends Kids Tablet from Pebble Gear is a sturdy piece of kit. We tried it out on a nearly 3 year old and a 6 and a 7 year old and both were impressed in different ways. Parents and grandparents alike will definitely find this to be a handy ‘distraction’ for the kids occasionally. Personally, I love the fact that there are no ads at all and no in-app purchases either. Mum and Dad have full parental control and the learning games and e-books are fun to say the least. This Kids’ Tablet is well worth the money.
skyda Daily Defence Lotion
The skyda Daily Defence Lotion is a lovely, lightweight moisturiser which offers a SPF 50+ protection. It’s easily absorbed so perfect for under make-up. It’s enriched with Vitamin E and is fragrance-free for those with sensitive skin. I like the fact it’s aimed at both genders and love that it’s not full of the usual nasties!
SOS Cleanse
I love trying out new cleansers and the SOS Cleanse is just up my street. It’s gentle on my skin but thorough at the same time. I particularly like the fact there’s no drying alcohol in there! It’s a really great rehydrating product and well worth trying if you’re in the market for a new go-to cleanser.
Balmonds Skin Salvation
Balmonds Skin Salvation is a must-have for every household. I use it on my elbows and when I have chapped lips but I know mums who use it on their babies bottoms. It’s an incredibly versatile product as it’s a natural moisturiser for any dry or itchy skin areas. It’s an oil-based balm made out of beeswax and is suitable for most people with eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis according to their ‘blurb’. Buy it – it’s a bargain at £7.99!
Travel Sanitizing Kit
This dinky little Travel Sanitizing Kit from Kikkerland includes everything you need when out and about. Obviously it’s perfect for life during in a pandemic but I’ve got a feeling we’ll all be carrying hand sanitizer around with us for a very long time. In fact I’ve already got some in every bag I own and in the car. This kit includes anti-bacterial hand-sanitizer, wipes and even a nifty little Black Light torch to highlight germs.
No 1 Illume Silk Exfoliating Glove
Wow, this is a winner. This exfoliating glove literally gets rid of dead skin cells in front of your eyes! It’s probably the most effective exfoliator I’ve ever used and it bring s areal glow to dull skin. I’m not a fake tan user but I have it on good authority that it’s great for removing fake tan! My legs are the smoothest they’ve ever been ad I’ve told all my daughters to go online and order one before they sell out.
Oceanfree Hand Sanitiser
So now we’re all supposedly getting ‘back to normal’, there are fewer face masks and less social distancing. As far as I’m concerned I’m still going to continue with the hand sanitising for the foreseeable future. Oceanfree do a lovely Hand Sanitiser Gel and Spray. Smells good and does the job – perfect!
