Some of the products below are amongst my Top Beauty Products but others are just bits and bobs I’ve bought and been well-impressed with. Take a look anyway. Who knows, you may find something you really love too….
Murdock Sea Salt Volume Mousse
I don’t know exactly what the difference is between this and my usual mousse, but whatever it is, it’s magic. It thickens my hair without making it sticky or stiff and I absolutely adore the scent. Hair products containing ‘Sea Salt’ also work wonderfully on my hair but this particular mousse is the best yet.

GEOMAG CLASSIC
Ok Mums, Dads, Nans & Bamps everywhere, GEOMAG is brilliant. Keeps the children entertained for ages whilst teaching them loads about science. It helps with Hand/Eye Coordination, gets them thinking creatively and is suitable for all ages. My grandsons love theirs and have built up a hefty collection of sets. And the best news is that we can have as much fun playing with Geomag as the little ones.
ELEMENTS Boutique Spa
The ELEMENTS Boutique Spa Cleansing Balm is to-die-for. It smells like the best spa in the world and melts away to the softest of skin products. I use it with a muslin cloth and love the way my skin feels after using it. More than anything, using it, before using one of the ELEMENTS face masks in a jar makes me so want to visit the actual Spa in Somerset and have a facial.
Monique Lucas
On her site you can read … Monique Lucas – inspired by islands near and far. From Tote Bags with a coastal theme (think starfish, lobsters, coral etc.) through Cushions in a marine design to tropical tea-towels, Monique’s products are colourful, unique and very beautiful. It’s worth bookmarking her site for if you’re ever looking for gifts that are a little bit different
Castell Apothecary Diffusers & Candles
A Cwtch is a really special ‘huggy cuddle’ in Welsh which kind of says it all when it comes to how gorgeous the Cwtch Diffuser smells. I love the candles from Castell Apothecary too but my all-time favourite is actually the Wild Fig & Guava Reed Diffuser. Smells amazing!
Prestige Hampers
My birthday this year was a bit of a wash-out because of lockdown. I couldn’t spend the day with my children and grandchildren but Mr 50 Plus did spoil me a bit more than usual. One of my best gifts was an amazing birthday hamper from Prestige Hampers. The blue presentation box, contained a pink wicker basket with my favourite cheeses, oaty crackers, red wine and chutney. They seem to have hampers for every budget and every occasion so bear them in mind now Christmas is on the horizon.
Stomp Rocket
Inspire the next generation of astronauts and engineers and keep the kids active and screen-free with Stomp Rocket! All the award-winning products are dead easy to put together and don’t need batteries. Perfect for children over 3 so I’ve already bought a couple as Xmas presents!
Stomp Rocket® is available from Amazon, John Lewis, Hamleys and Toymaster. Follow @stomprocketuk
Dragonfly CBD Face Cream
Without a doubt, other than the word Lockdown, CBD has got to be one of the most bandied-about terms this year. I’ve recently discovered the Dragonfly CBD Face Cream and Body Lotion and boy are they good. Both soak into my skin without leaving it greasy and the face cream in particular, suits the skin on my face down to the ground. The Cocoa Butter and Argan Oil make my skin silky-soft and this is one moisturiser I’ll definitely be buying again.
Yu-Nu Moisturising Sleep Mask
Wow – simply Wow! This is not just a sleep mask as it moisturises the delicate skin around and under your eyes all night long. So while you sleep the moisturiser works its magic. The mask by NanuSleep is lovely and feels like a real luxe product. It really is a fantastic treat for yourself or as a gift for anyone. I have a few new mums in mind who may well be getting one of these this Christmas.
