If you’re looking for Christmas gift ideas, then read on …
I’m usually one of those annoying sensible people who start shopping for Christmas in January. Well you can pick up some good bargains after Christmas, can’t you? And let’s be fair, who wants to pay full price when they can pay half price! This year we’ve been so busy with our doer-upper of a house amongst other things, that I’m nowhere near as organised as I normally am.
As a family we’ve decided to set budgets on our gift-buying this year. We want to do another big family holiday / get-together in the Spring so have decided to limit our Christmas spending. We’ll have more to spend on the holiday then. Anyway, I digress … below are a few Christmas Gift ideas if you’re looking for something a bit different …
Helen Elliott Calendar

Am a massive fan of Helen Elliott and her art. I have an original painting I bought in an online auction and a few prints. My daughters and I have even framed pics from old calendars and dotted them around the place too. The artwork is so colourful and I can’t imagine anyone not loving one of her calendars as a gift this Christmas.
Spacemasks

These self-warming eyemasks are incredibly relaxing and perfect for anyone needing a de-stress! They make me fall asleep every time! Buy these amazing spacemasks now and you’ll also be donating to The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. Fab gift and a charity donation in one go. Win! Win!
Rhiannon Art Calendar

I love a calendar with good artwork and Rhiannon Art really does do a great calendar. Her pics of iconic Welsh buildings are unique, colourful and distinctive too. Daughter 1 has a gorgeous print of Wales’ very own fairy-tale castle Castell Coch and everyone loves it.
The Personal Barber Collection

I love these Shaving Kits from The Personal Barber. At least one of the men I’m buying for this year is going to get one of these classy gifts. Your bloke can forget about whipping out his electric shaver for a functional shave and start spoiling himself! 2020 is all about turning shaving into an enjoyable experience.

Fox & Velvet Prints

The prints on the Fox & Velvet website are just up my street! Perfect gifts for anyone who has special memories of a country or city they may have visited. We got married in New York and now one of their fab NY prints has pride of place in our hall.
ION8 Water Bottle

ION8 water bottles are brilliant. I have a couple of them now and they are completely leak proof and very hardwearing. The steel one above keeps drinks cold or even hot for simply ages, Most of us are trying to live more sustainable lifestyles now and so refillable and reuseable water bottles make fab gifts!
Onaie Sheepskin Slippers

I love to buy gifts from independent retailers like ONAIE . They handcraft their sheepskin slippers so every item has an artisanal feel and finish. I’ve had mine for a few months now and they are super-soft and comfy. They kind of mould to your feet to make them all yours! What’s not to love!
SEAMS Hand Cream

When you have a trio of daughters, hand cream is a must for every Christmas Stocking! (Yes my children are adults and yes they still have stockings!!) SEAMS hand cream goes down a treat with all of them as it’s non-greasy, absorbs instantly and works!
Vintage Lip Balms by Andrea Garland

If you’re buying for any girl/woman this Christmas then you can’t go wrong with one of these pretty, mirrored vintage inspired lip balm compacts. All the products are made by hand in small batches. What’s more they’re refillable so can be re-used again & again & ….

Men-ü sell all sorts of men’s toiletries and quality personal grooming products. They’re all ultra-concentrated too so a little goes a long way. This men’s travel kit is a fab Christmas gift and perfect for trips away when those pesky airline restrictions limit what you can pop in your luggage.
