We all love a trifle, don’t we?! And what’s better in the Summer than a Summer Berry Trifle! This recipe from ‘In The Kitchen With Kate‘ is so easy to follow – you really can’t go wrong. And it looks really pretty and impressive too.
You can vary the fruits you use and can add chocolate if you’re a chocoholic like me. It’s really good made with sponge fingers and bananas too and crushed meringues can add an extra crunch and texture.
Summer Berry Trifle Recipe
Ingredients
1 packet of Sponge of your choice (I used raspberry filled swiss roll)
600g Strawberries
300g Raspberries
500g blueberries
800ml Custard
600ml Double Cream
Equipment
Large trifle dish/serving bowl or individual jars.
